This week’s Song of the Week comes from KStewart!
Aside from last year’s irresistible collaboration with Matoma and Sean Paul on “Paradise,” it’s been over a year since we last heard some new music from this talented British singer-songstress, whose low-key been providing us with some genuinely amazing dance-pop euphoria since 2015 – from “Close Enough” to “Keeping You Up” to “Ain’t Nobody” to “Be Without You.”
KStewart makes her grand return with “Hands” featuring Yungen, and luckily, nothing has changed – she’s back just as glorious as ever.
The infectious tune – produced by David Stewart – plays with breezy, sweeping melodies and pronounced, plucking percussion for a summery dancehall-influenced groove led by K‘s full-bodied vocals. “Hands, woooo/ Put your hands on me/ Hands, woooo/ I wear your hands when you’re dancing on me/ I lose myself when I’m in your arms/ And I don’t care what the world gotta say about us,” she confesses on the ear-worm of a hook.
“Hands” boasts very-current tropical appeal with seductive punctuations, and alludes to what will likely be another exciting year for the rising beauty. If you haven’t already, get familiar now!
