‘Heatstroke’: Calvin Harris Delivers Feel-Good Throwback Vibes With Young Thug, Pharrell Williams & Ariana Grande!

Clavin Harris is delivering on his promise to gift us with TEN new singles this year, all of which “have been sonically designed to make you feel fucking incredible.”

Like last month’s Frank Ocean and Migos-assisted “Slide,” the Scottish hit-maker’s next offering “Heatstroke” featuring Young Thug, Pharrell Williams and Ariana Grande sees Calvin steering into more chilled-out, poolside territory – it’s another feel-good jam!

Heatstroke” kicks off with Thugger taking the lead on the main verses. Ariana comes in to bless the track with her angelic vocals on the hook, and Pharrell provides soulful throwback assistance along the way. “When you do things like this/ And you set me free (How come anyone get tired?)/ When you do things like this/ And you set me free (I think I just been inspired),” Ariana and Pharrell sweetly sing on-top of the shimmering, disco groove.

Once again, Calvin‘s latest foray into sunny, relaxed disco vibes isn’t exactly a life-changing sonic revolution. He’s giving us the opposite of what we’ve come to except, a refreshing rejection of what electronica’s become as of late: No EDM post-chorus drops. No trend-hopping production tricks. Just straight-up feel-good vibes from start to finish!

Please let go, and have a good time…

“Heatstroke,” Calvin Harris’ latest single with Young Thug, Pharrell Williams & Ariana Grande is also available on Apple Music and Amazon!
