Clean Bandit & Zara Larsson Make Euphoric Magic On Timeless Collab, ‘Symphony’!

Hold on tight and don’t let go… Clean Bandit and Zara Larsson have joined forces for a magical pop moment!

While their Sean Paul and Anne-Marie-assisted smash “Rockabye” is currently experiencing its highest peak in the U.S at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100, the British trio have decided to waste no no more time, and rightfully so. They’re marching forward with “Symphony,” their much-teased and glorious collaboration with Swedish songstress Zara Larsson, who just released her new album So Good today (March 17) as well.

Much like “Tears,” the tune – co-written by band member Jack Patterson, Ina Wrolsden, Steve Mac and Ammar Malik – stars off like a ballad, building slowly in the speakers as Zara sings about her newfound love – it’s love song disguised as a song about songs. “I’ve been hearing symphonies/ Before all I heard was silence/ A rhapsody for you and me/ And every melody is timeless,” she quivers above the lush synthesized pulsations, before eventually bursting into a soaring cries on the song’s euphoric chorus: “I just wanna be part of your symphony/ Will you hold me tight and not let go?/ Symphony/ Like a love song on the radio/ Will you hold me tight and not let go?

But again like “Tears,” that first chorus go-around is really just a tease. Each time Zara hits that chorus, the song swells with more epic vocals and more gorgeous euphoric, intricate production. And by the time she reaches that final build (“Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah…“), Zara‘s truly taken us to new heights. And that’s what a collaboration is supposed to sound like, folks – GET INTO IT!

Clean Bandit & Zara Larsson’s new single “Symphony” is also available on Apple Music and Spotify!
