Song of the Week: Sigma x Birdy ‘Find Me’

This week’s Song of the Week comes from Sigma and Birdy!

Many of you may already be acquainted with the English production duo because of the international success of their 2015 smash single “Nobody to Love,” which topped the UK Singles Chart and became their first UK number one. Since then, they’ve managed to keep their light bright with solid single releases with Paloma Faith on “Changing,” Labrinth on “Higher,” Ella Henderson on “Glitterball” and Rita Ora on “Coming Home.” They’ve had a consistent run, so there’s no need to stop now…

Their latest titled “Find Me,” featuring fellow UK songbird Birdy, is exactly the kind of reassuring anthem many of you may be needing to hear this week given the results of the 2016 Presidential Election. “If you’re ready, heart is open/ I’ll be waiting, come find me/ If you’re searching for forever/ I’ll be waiting, come find me/ I can see you, you’re in the darkness/ Blinding lights right where your heart is/ If you’re ready, heart is open/ I’ll be waiting, come find me,” Birdy assures over soaring strings before the uplifting post-hook, backed by Sigma‘s signature drum and bass production pulses, comes swooping in for the save.

I know many of you, like me, are feeling all sorts of heartbroken emotions today. Let yourself have a moment. “Tears they come and go.” Just know that you’re NEVER alone… Reach out! Find someone to talk to. Unfortunate circumstances can lead to positive changes. The time is now to unite. We need each other more than ever. I love you.

Sigma x Birdy’s new single “Find Me” is also avaible on iTunes and Spotify!
