As we already know, Tegan and Sara are set to release their upcoming Greg Kurstin-produced eighth studio album Love You To Death next month (June 3)! Along the way, they’ve recently announced plans to make music videos for EVERY one of the 10 songs on the anticipated LP.

Following “Boyfriend” and “U-turn,” the very talented Canadian duo have now shared the visual for their latest offering: “100x,” a twinkling breakup-ballad that sees the sisters trading off vocals atop a gorgeous, piano-led melody. “I swear I tried to leave you/ At least a hundred times a day/ I swear I tried to tell you/ A thousand times, a different way, I need out, on my own, I don’t wanna live this way/ I need out, on my own, I don’t wanna live this way/ I swear I tried to tell you/ At least a hundred times a day,” the girls gently coo on repeat.
Sometimes, the beauty of a song lies in its simplicity, and that’s exactly what’s happening here–lyrically, vocally, and production wise–and already a standout from the upcoming collection, which is already shaping up to be just as good as it’s 2013 predecessor Heartthrob .
