Doesn’t it seem like Flo Rida and Jason Derulo just shit out hits like it’s nothing? At the moment, Flo‘s “My House” is currently sitting pretty in the top five of the Billboard Hot 100, while Jason‘s latest “Get Ugly” is chillin’ at #58. Hide your wife, hide your kids, these two are inescapable.
So, it’s really no surprise that Flo and Jason have decided to jump on a song together—as they did today with the appropriately titled “Hello Friday“—and there’s already a good chance that it’s playing on the radio as we speak. “Hello Friday, I’ve been waiting for you for a long time/ You just save me when my life came tumbling down/ And I know you’re gonna leave me/ Hello Friday, I’ve been waiting for you for a long time,” Jason croons above the warm, summery tropical-like pulsations.
The solid, care free bop right is on-trend and basically exactly what you would expect to come from these two, but I don’t totally hate it.
